Royal Creek Ranches started as a dream — one brought to life by Chad Hymas. If you know Chad, you know he’s no stranger to resilience. As a world-renowned motivational speaker and bestselling author, Chad has inspired people across the globe to face challenges head-on and create something meaningful out of adversity.
And that’s exactly what this ranch is about — creating space for experiences you can’t find anywhere else. Whether it’s a wedding under a big Utah sky, a team bonding on a corporate retreat, a family laughing around a fire pit, or the thrill of pheasant hunting across wide-open acres — this place was built to bring people together in unforgettable ways.
A Beginning Worth Remembering
We first opened our doors in 2018 with just Elk Ridge Lodge. It was something special — a beautiful space for gathering, relaxing, and celebrating. From day one, guests came and made memories here that lasted a lifetime. We saw weddings, reunions, retreats, and celebrations fill the space with laughter and meaning.
And then came 2021.
A fire took everything. Elk Ridge Lodge, the gathering spaces, everything we had worked so hard to build — gone in a single blaze. It was devastating.
For a while, we weren’t sure what would come next. But walking away never felt like the right choice. We believed too much in what this place meant to people — and what it still could be.
Rising Again, Stronger Than Before
So we rebuilt.
And not just what we lost — we made it bigger, better, and more beautiful than before. We brought back Elk Ridge Lodge and added something truly incredible: Pheasant Haven Lodge.
With 17 bedrooms, 20 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a movie theater room, a full game room, hot tubs, and huge gathering areas, Pheasant Haven is more than just a lodge — it’s a home for moments that matter.
All of this is set on 1,100 acres of stunning, secluded land. Out here, there are no busy roads or city noise. Just mountain views, open skies, and the kind of quiet that lets you breathe a little deeper.
